I must be missing something.Īny help greatly appreciated thanks for your time.
It's like every customization I personally make doesn't function for some reason, even if it's 2 pixels off from one that already exists, or an actual clone. I know that SAI should be able to take new brush textures I just added the set that screen03 comes from this morning. The problem turned out to be bigger than I thought. BMP file, created a new copy, made the alteration, and added it to SAI like I've done with custom textures in the past. I wanted to try to make a supplemental version of the screen03 texture (basically just inverted so the pixels don't overlap), so I went to the. Painting over screen03 with the same screen03 texture just overlaps the colors, as you'd expect, but I found I could get a neat effect by painting two different colors with screen03 on two different layers, and veeery subtly offsetting one of the colors (1 pixel down, 1 pixel to the right). I've found it hard to describe/search for solutions, so I'll try to be as thorough as I can with all the steps that led me here. I'm getting back into digital drawing, currently experimenting with screen tone shading, which is where I ran into a weird problem (hope this post belongs here, but it seemed like a decent bet apologies if not).
